Business Immigration
The objective of the Business Immigration category is to support economic development and job creation in Canada by attracting individuals with substantial income levels and exceptional business and entrepreneurial capabilities.
There are various Business Streams to explore, including the Provincial Nominee Entrepreneur Program and the Federal Start-up Visa Program.
Provincial Nominee Program – Entrepreneur
The Provincial Nominee Program is a collaborative initiative between Canada’s provinces and the federal government, allowing provinces to create their own immigration programs and manage immigrant selection according to their specific plans and priorities.
All applicants to provincial nominee programs must meet federal admissibility standards to enter Canada. Those seeking a provincial nomination from any participating province must ensure they fulfill the specific criteria of that province, submitting applications in two stages: first to the provincial program administration and then to the federal immigration department.
Each province may operate multiple programs at different times throughout the year based on their unique needs and goals. The requirements for these programs can vary significantly and may change at any time.
